Traditions carries a wide selection of functional work from pottery, to scarves, bags, jewellery and candles. You will also find unique works of art, photography, sculpture and much more for your home, or as a very special gift. The work of our artists can be found in collections of Dignitaries, Royalty and Celebrities all over the world, as well as in the homes of some of Saskatchewan's most ardent art supporters. Traditions Handcraft Gallery represents over 60 Fine Craft artists hailing from all over the province of Saskatchewan.
Each artist in the store is a Juried Professional Member of the Saskachewan Craft Council. The SCC jury process has been in place for over three decades, and their standards have been used as a mode for other craft council's across Canada. The artists submits 10-15 physical samples of their work (not just photographs) for the jury to inspect. Artists are juried by experienced craft artists in their medium and must meet standards in precise technical specifications, aesthetic appeal and originality of design. Purchasing the work of a Juried SCC member means you can be assured of owning a quality piece of truly original craft.
